Sleep really has a huge effect on me. I would have to say that's high on the list.
Others:
* A little quiet time every day to think, or not think, where I don't have to do anything but sit.
* Physical activity (duh)
* A little social time every day with others
* Problem-solving or pattern-fitting games or challenges (e.g., Scrabble)
So what then do we have?
Sleep/activity paired with solo time/people time. So in one word, I guess it came be summed up as such: balance.
1. Music
2. Fine Wine
3. Women
All three of these combined preferably
fine wine serge? weren't you born in the 90s?
I think Serge defines fine wine as any wine that isn't poured from a box.
I'm with Mike on this one. As long as I get enough sleep and exercise I am pretty happy.
My understanding of fine wine is a wine that makes the lady think that I actually know what the hell I'm talking about in the field of oenology and is strong enough to do the job. (And I was born in 88, thank you.)
I guess it's still beat up on Serge month. Serge-maybe it should more correctly be stated as wine and fine women? I go to work to rest. I sleep more and better when I'm undisturbed by the kids. Also, per Mike's list: * A little quiet time every day to think, or not think, where I don't have to do anything but sit. - sitting for hours staring at clouds or the ground. * Physical activity (duh) - running through airport terminals, lifting my bags. * A little social time every day with others - mixing it up with the other crew members. * Problem-solving or pattern-fitting games or challenges (e.g., Scrabble) - asking myself "where is that dammned airport?"
Hi, I'm Courtland and I train with Crossfit Invictus in San Diego. Coming up for the week to Alameda for a family visit, so I hope to stop in at CFO and train some.
Re post: That very sign was on display in small London restaurant where I had lunch in September. It was intriguing enough for me to photograph. Great article.
