Lau after one of his recent solo skydiving jumps

One of the key prescriptions in CrossFit's World Class Fitness in 100 Words is to regularly learn and play new sports.

Lau took this to heart in his recent foray into the world of skydiving (with an assist from MJJ in lighting the coals).

With that in mind, what sport do you want to take up in the next year or have you taken up in the past year?

[Excluding CrossFit itself, the grand sport of fitness!]

***REMINDER***

The Sunday Olympic Lifting session has been canceled for tomorrow, Oct 12. Sunday sessions will resume next Sunday, Oct 19, starting at 1:30pm.

motorcycling touring...

ride, explore, camp, partake in cultural adventurers....

Weak Lau, you might as well have added a mountain summit in the background............Photoshop!

Seriously Lau? Any lame-o can throw on a skate board helmet, some pajamas, tangle up some rope, throw a tarp over their shoulder, pose in front of a non-discriminable shed, and then photoshop in a wind-sock for "authenticity".

EPIC FAILURE! Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

When did skydiving become a sport? I think I will take up the sport of playing dominoes.

Nabil and Brandon,

I have a picture for you. I think you will find it motivating as you train for the next CrossFit Games:

JW with the ladies

What sport do I want to get into this year? That's easy - Competitive Eating. The problem is that I have to go up against people like Sonya Thomas. She may look small, but she ate 11 pounds of cheesecake in 10 minutes.

Tamara anything can be sport as long as participants are very passionate, intense, and more importantly are ready to fight anyone standing in their way to win………like in the ‘sport’ of box jumping.

Good point MJJ, I believe box jumping has become an extreme sport. It will make you eat your first born & has been the cause of some serious injuries. I think I will stick to golf since we have lowered our standards as to what a sport is. Does this mean I can finally call myself an athlete?

Steven,

That video was truly impressive. The range of motion shown there was something to behold. I might not be able to compete with those athletes, but I would not mind being an athletic supporter for them. Ahem...

SPORT: That B*tch-Slap Girl-Fighting thing that Nicole "doesn't remember" telling me about...

Robyn,

are you training to fight Gina Carano?

I'm going after this sport

I'm impressed with the ability to go up.... not come down, seriously how hard is falling?

Robyn could totally take Gina Carano.

I love Gina Carano!

Ring donor, thank you!!!
